Great question! Think about it: you might not need a designer all the time, so you’d end up paying for a lot of downtime. Plus, snagging a top-notch designer can cost you over $100,000 a year, plus benefits (and good luck finding one who’s free). With our monthly plans, you can pause or resume your subscription whenever you need. That means you’re only paying for a designer when you’ve got work for them. It’s flexible, cost-effective, and way less hassle!
A Subscription let's you pause or cancel anytime (like you Netflix membership), whereas a Retainer is a fixed (and inflexible) contract for a defined period of time (like your rent). Subscriptions keeps us both in our toes, whereas retainers tend to damage the relationship in the long run ending in fights over who-said-what. We like to keep things simple and let you pay when you need it.
Once you’re subscribed, you can stack up as many design requests as you like in your queue (awe manage requests through an easy-to-use platform called Basecamp). We’ll tackle them one by one in the order you assign them.
Most requests are wrapped up in about two days or less on average. But remember, if you’re asking for something more complex, it might take a bit longer.
The main differences are delivery time and the number of requests. With the Standard Plan, you get a 72-hour delivery window for ONE request at a time. With the Premium Plan, you get a 48-hour delivery window and can have TWO requests at the same time.
You might be surprised, but Everydesign is a small team of three designers. This means you’ll always work directly with the same designer you’re assigned to. However, if you need power-ups like animations or custom illustrations, we’ve got partner designers who handle those. It’s a personal touch with some extra support when needed!
We get it—you might not have enough design work to fill up an entire month. Maybe you just have a couple of requests right now. That’s where pausing your subscription comes in handy.
Our billing cycles are based on a 31-day period. So, let’s say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, then decide to pause your subscription. This means your billing cycle pauses, and you’ll have 10 days of service left to use whenever you need them in the future.
Most of our design work is done using Figma, but we also use other common design software like Adobe Suite. Whenever possible, we’ll share a link so you can comment directly on the design. Interestingly, we don’t shy away from designing in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, or Word), Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs), and Apple iWork (Keynote, Pages, or Numbers). These are commonly used by organizations that need editable files.
Everydesign offers a ton of flexibility in how you request designs using Trello. Some common ways clients request designs are directly via Trello, sharing Google Docs or wireframes, or even recording a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out). Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it’s fair game.
No worries! We’ll keep revising the design until you’re 100% satisfied.
Absolutely. Everydesign doesn’t cover the following design work: 3D modeling, animated graphics (GIFs, etc.), document design (medical forms, etc.), complex packaging, and extensive print design (magazines, books, etc.).
That’s totally fine. You can pause your subscription when you’re finished and come back whenever you have more design needs. No need to let the rest of your subscription go to waste.
Due to the high-quality nature of our work and how we process requests, we don’t issue refunds.
